Dance Performance: New Works by Battery Dance, Created in Residence at Vassar

Battery Dance performs two works, a new dance by choreographer Damani Pompey created with dancers of Battery Dance in March, while in residence at Vassar College, and Frontiers, created last year by Rutkay Özpinar for the annual summer Battery Dance Festival.
This performance is the culmination of Battery Dance's second residency at Vassar.
Battery Dance, based in NYC, pursues artistic excellence and social relevance by creating vibrant new works, performing on the world’s stages, presenting dance in public spaces, and building bridges worldwide through international cultural exchange. This program is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
