Elizabeth Cannon, Director of Community-Engaged-Learning, in collaboration with Celebrating the African Spirit and Revive College Hill Park Coalition, secured a Civic Imagination Partnership Grant from Partners for Campus-Community Engagement (PCCE). This grant will support the Frederick Douglass Day Celebration, a true community event that brings together organizations across the City of Poughkeepsie to focus on racial healing, anti-racism, and coalition-building.

Josh de Leeuw, Associate Professor of Cognitive Science, received a grant from the National Science Foundation, together with his collaborators from MIT, MGH IHP, and Yale University, for their project entitled “POSE: Phase II: An Open-Source Ecosystem for Behavioral Experiments.” The funded project will create an open-source ecosystem for behavioral experiments centered around jsPsych, an established and highly-used tool for behavioral research.
