Vassar Awards Grants for Six Signature Programs to be Held at the New Vassar Institute for the Liberal Arts

The Office of Community-Engaged Learning (OCEL) Receives Second Civic Imagination Grant in Collaboration with Celebrating The African Spirit and Revive College Hill Park Coalition

Elizabeth Cannon, Director of Community-Engaged-Learning, in collaboration with Celebrating the African Spirit and Revive College Hill Park Coalition, secured a Civic Imagination Partnership Grant from Partners for Campus-Community Engagement (PCCE). This grant will support the Frederick Douglass Day Celebration, a true community event that brings together organizations across the City of Poughkeepsie to focus on racial healing, anti-racism, and coalition-building.
